Branca's Friends

This pasodoble was written at the request of the Portuguese symphonic band ARMAB. Although it is written following a fairly traditional structure, its central section with only trumpet makes it especially attractive to the public. In the second part of the couplet the solo becomes a duet within a traditional Portuguese rhythm.
