Struggling

Pasodoble composed by maestro Fernando Tormo Ibáñez from Albaida (Valencia). “Fighting for life” is the original title of this pasodoble. The Albaiden native Fernando Tormo Ibáñez composed it in a difficult time, full of sadness, where living day to day was very hard, characteristics that are noticeable in this work, with a certain melancholic character in all its melodies.

Tormo liked to call many of his pasodobles "philosophical pasodobles" because of the complexity of their conception, and perhaps Luchando, composed during a difficult time in Spain, is one of the paradigms of this type of music, so expressive and majestic.
