LLORENÇ BELDA JUAN
Born in Aielo de Malferit (1972). He begins to study music at the music school of the Aielo Music Union. Later he began to study clarinet with José Barberá at the same school in 1980. Later he went to the Carcaixent Conservatory "Maestro Vert" where he obtained the Elementary Degree and the Ontinyent "Melchor Gomis" Conservatory where he obtained the Intermediate Degree. Obtaining the Title of Superior Clarinet Professor at the "Oscar Esplà" Conservatory of Alicante. He has also studied Harmony, and Counterpoint and Fugue. He is currently studying Counterpoint and Fugue 3rd at the Alicante Conservatory.
Throughout his career he has studied clarinet with José Barberá, Rogelio Blasco, Juanjo Borras, Salvador Navarro, Antoni Ribera and Francisco Florido. And he has taken clarinet improvement courses with Juanjo Borràs, Miguel Ángel Tamarit, Francisco Florido, Enrique Pérez, and Miguel Espejo. In the field of harmony, he has studied with Juan Enrique Canet, Esmarado Iñesta, Francisco Javier Costa, Joaquín Civera, Daniel Juan Ferrero, and José Vicent Asensi; and he has completed a refresher course with Norman Milanés In the field of Pedagogy, he has studied with Mª Carmen Sansaloni and Carmen Agulló, and has completed two refresher courses with Maravillas Díaz and Ana Lucia Frega. He has also studied Didactics of Wind Instruments with Sylvia Schwarzenbach.
He has taken several improvement courses organized by the Valle de Albaida Regional School of Music: NLP with Inma Capó, Didactics of Improvisation with Emilio Molina. He is in possession of the certificates of the CAP (Pedagogical Aptitude Course) and the Intermediate Degree of the Valencian Knowledge Qualifying Board. He has studied Band Direction with Jose Rafael Pascual Vilaplana for two academic years. He has also completed a refresher course in the area of Acoustics and Sound organized by the company Tecno-Star S.A.
He is also dedicated to composition, especially in the field of Moors and Christians festive music. He has been a finalist for two rounds in the Callosa d'En Sarrià composition contest, obtaining second prize from the public in one of them (1995). He has obtained an honorable mention for innovation in the Bocairent Composition Contest (1999), and has won first prize in the composition contest of the II Festive Music Symposium organized by UNDEF.
In the field of Musical Informatics, he has given advanced courses and masters everything that involves editing scores and the MIDI system. Since September 1999 he is director of the Benissoda Musical Union.
He has taught Musical Language at the municipal schools of Aielo de Malferit and Agullent, and is currently a professor at the Valle de Albaida Regional School of Music, where he teaches Instrumental Ensemble, Clarinet, and Musical Information Technology.
