He was born in Enguera (Valencia) beginning his studies in the band of his town with M.Vidal, choosing the saxophone as his instrument. He studies at the conservatories of Xátiva, Carcaixent, and Superior de Valencia, getting two honorable mentions in the middle and higher grade in the Contest for extraordinary prize.

Parallel to his saxophone studies, he studies double bass, piano, harmony, counterpoint, fugue, composition and conducting. He has also made forays into the field of modern music, being, for years, a component and arranger of one of the oldest orchestras in the Valencian community: Zíngaros.

For three years he attended orchestra conducting courses with Bruno Membrey and composition and orchestration courses with Carl Schahter in Girona. The composer and conductor Bernardo Adam Ferrero contributes to his formation as well as the Alcoy-born composer Luis Blanes, a true mentor in his musical career.

In 2016 he acquired the status of Doctor of Humanities from the Cardenal Herrera CEU University for his thesis "Reference points in the work of the composer Luis Blanes: Tradition and modernity".
