FERNANDO ESPI CREMADES

Fernando Espí is one of the best Spanish guitarists of the moment. He obtained the Extraordinary End of Career Award from the international master José Tomás at the Conservatorio Superior "Oscar Esplá" in Alicante, where he currently teaches as a professor of guitar. He holds the professional title of the specialty of early music with plucked string instruments and has a degree in History and Science of Music. He completed postgraduate studies with Arnaldur Arnalson in Barcelona and has been awarded in national and international competitions of recognized prestige, among the most recent is the third prize and the special prize for the best interpretation of Spanish music in the XVI. International Guitar Competition of the Guerrero Foundation. He combines this work with the teaching of master classes in courses and festivals, the artistic direction of the International Guitar Festival "Ciutat de Xixona", the recording of albums which have received the best reviews in specialized magazines and the creation of his own record label "6×8". The specialized press places him "among the most brilliant current interpreters of the six strings" (Scherzo). Fernando Espí plays Royal Classics strings.
He studied with Doña Pilar Constancio Portolés (Flute Soloist of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid and Orquesta Titular del Teatro Real). As a teacher he has worked as a Professor of his specialty and Musical Language in various music schools such as the S.A.M. Philharmonic of Callosa de Segura (Alicante), Municipal School of Music and Dance of Daganzo de Arriba (Madrid), School of Music and Dance of Daganzo de Arriba (Madrid), School of Music and Dance of Daganzo de Arriba (Madrid). 
Municipal School of Music of Serracines (Madrid), currently developing it in MUSIBAITE School of Music and Dance (Ajalvir; Madrid).

Concludes in the course 2011/2012, obtaining all the accredited certificates, the studies of Band Conducting at the Regional School of La Vall d'Albaida (Valencia), under the tutelage of the teachers José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana (Band Conducting), Ramón García i Soler (Instrumentation, Orchestration, Composition and Musical Computing), Tomás Gilbert (Analysis), Joan Alborch Mañana (Auditory Education). As part of these studies, he has received, together with the professors, several masterclasses with conductors and composers of the national and international band scene, such as José Miguel Fayós-Jordán, Andrés Valero, Luis Serrano Alarcón, among others.
He has also developed at the same place Studies of Composition for Band under the tutelage of Ramón García i Soler.
Within the flautist field he has performed as a guest soloist on several occasions, highlighting the performances as a concert performer with the S.A.M. Band. Philharmonic of Callosa de Segura. He has participated in training courses given by Joaquín Gericó Trilla, Juan Francisco Cayuelas Grao, among others.
