Juan Jesús López Sandoval was born in Calasparra (Murcia), his musical vocation began within the Banda de Música Association of this town. He is a Higher Graduate in the specialties of Tuba, Composition and Orchestra Direction, and has completed two master's degrees; in Innovation and Educational Research from the University of Malaga and in Musical Heritage from the International University of Andalusia.
He has perfected his studies with the main Masters of the international artistic scene in Romania, Malaga, the University of Alcalá de Henares, the University of Catania and at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena.
He has been the winner of the First Andalusian Competition for Young Performers in Chamber Music with the brass quintet "Eolo Brass", awarded in the Bullfighting Competition "Espiga de Oro" mention "Ángel Rodríguez" for the composition of the pasodoble "Espiga de Oro", first prize in the II Vila de Muro International Composition Contest and decorated by the Hon. Calasparra City Council in the Villa Donation Act, for his professional career and his work in favor of musical culture.
In his professional career he has conducted prestigious ensembles, highlighting among others the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, Malaga Philharmonic, Malaga Symphony, European Symphony Orchestra, Jaen Symphony Orchestra, Melilla Symphony Orchestra, Moldova National Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Sofia Festival, Municipal Band of Jaén, Municipal Band of Granada, Municipal Band of Málaga, etc.
During his career he has always received praise from critics and the public for displaying an expressive direction, a refined and virtuoso technique, and above all for his gestural and persuasive transmission of musical content.
