PABLO ANGLES GALINDO
Born in Benicarlo. He began his musical studies at the A.M. City of Benicarló with the teacher José Antonio Valls. He continues and ends them at the Higher Conservatories of Valencia and Zaragoza, centers where he obtains the following qualifications and recognitions: Piano Professor, Clarinet Professor, Solfeggio, Snare and Transposition, Choir Conducting, Orchestra Conducting, Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Instrumentation, with Honorable Mention in Counterpoint and Fugue and Extraordinary End of Degree Award in Composition and Instrumentation.
At the age of 18, he took over the leadership of the A.M. City of Benicarlo. He obtained numerous awards in the different competitions in which he participated as director: Provincial Contest, Autonomous Contest, City of Valencia International Contest, World Music Contest of Kerkrade (Holland), CIM Vila de Altea, Citta' di Sinnai International Contest, where he won the award to the best director of the contest in its two participations, Vila de la Sénia International Music Bands Contest…
He has been director of the Band of the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community during the year 2004.
He is a regular member of different qualification juries in prestigious composition and interpretation competitions.
He has been a professor by competitive examination of Secondary Education since 1992 and a professor of this body since 2016. He regularly teaches very diverse specialization courses for different entities.
He is a member as a composer of the General Society of Authors of Spain, of the Association of Composers of Moors and Christians and of the Association of Valencian Composers COSICOVA. He has premiered more than 50 works for very diverse groups, obtaining numerous awards in different competitions: V Composition Contest for Rafael Rodríguez Albert Band of the Diputación de Alicante, II Composition Contest of Festera de Altea Music, VIII Contest of Callosa d'en Sarrià, II Vila de Petrer Competition, I Alaquàs Competition, VI Montserrat International Composition Competition for Chamber Music, VI Altea Composition Competition, VI City of Torrevieja Symphonic Band Composition Competition, 27th International Original Composition Competition for Band of Corciano (Italy)…
He currently combines his work as a composer with that of Head of Department of the Music area of the I.E.S. Leopoldo Querol de Vinaròs, professor at the International University of Valencia as director of the Master's Final Project and director of the Benicarló City School of Music and Band.
