Moorish Ambassador

Moorish march commissioned by the city of Elda as a mandatory piece in the XII band competition in 1997, work of the composer Daniel Ferrero Silvaje. With a degree in horn, harmony, composition and instrumentation, choir direction and orchestra direction, Daniel Ferrero has conducted several groups, including the Valencia Conservatory orchestra, the Vallés Symphony Orchestra, the Unió Musical de Muro and the Municipal Band from Villena. From 1987 to 2000 he was principal conductor of the Ontinyent Musical Artistic Union Band with whom he has won several awards. From 2001 to 2005, he has been chief conductor of the Band of the Alteanense Philharmonic Society. With this band he has inaugurated the Palau Altea, and has won several awards in Murcia and at the Kerkrade competition in 2005.
