Mediterranean Rhapsody

First prize (ex aequo) of the II National Composition Contest "Vila de Muro" (Alicante).

It is, as explained by its author, a mixture of different popular melodies that are given musical union, and is inspired by the "Cancionero Levantino" and based on the popular melody "Los Mayos", which, according to Juan Jesús, "are popular songs that were sung in the Spanish Levant to celebrate the arrival of spring, the month of May, the month of flowers".
